Hushicho's art

Hushicho is a slightly strange but very friendly phoenix, who appears to like cupcakes.

Interested in mythology, seems to be bilingual in Japanese (or at least way better at it than I will ever be), and knows more than I ever will about mythology, especially eastern myths. hushicho's art is often reminiscent of Mucha, and that's no coincidence, as Mucha has been a large artistic influence.

Commission terms

Hushicho retains full copyright to all images, and to any original characters (both fish are (c) Hushicho!).

We both agree to honour any reasonable request to renegotiate these terms at any time, and that we'll both make every reasonable effort to accommodate the desires of the other in any new agreement.

I (Farrier) agree that:

1. I will not deliberately remove your signatures. If I do something to it that might remove the signature as a side-effect (eg cropping the image), I will make a best effort to fix that (eg by copy/pasting the signature within the cropped area), and checking with you that it's OK. [See Sergio's page for an good example of this].
2. I will credit you for your work. If I put an image on a web page, print it out, or make it publically available, I will take reasonable steps to give you full credit for it. For instance, link to your homepage, give your email address (but not to spammers!), and tell anyone who asks that you made the image, and how to contact you if they want a commission too.
3. I will respect your privacy. If you don't want your contact details to be made available, just let me know. This is more important than the point above. In particular, I will not put your email address online without taking steps to prevent email-reaping spam-bots collecting it.
4. I will ask anyone I distribute these images to, to also respect these terms.
5. If I want to charge for any of the images involved, I must talk to arrange terms for this.

In return, so long as I abide by the above, you (Hushicho) agree that:

1. I can copy all images involved as much as I want, forever, so long as I do not charge for it. You agree that I can give it to other people and let them copy it, so long as they don't charge for it, and so on... (Legally that's an "irrevocable, transferrable right to copy").
2. I can modify my copies all I like, forever, but I can't pass this on to other people: only you can say who's allowed to modify it. (Legally, I get an "irrevocable, non-transferrable right to modify")
